Team Natalia Gubin, AIA
Project ManagerNatalia Gubin excels in the daily creative and technical problem-solving required to be a successful architectural project manager. An active member of Hill West’s BIM committee, she finds modeling and coordinating projects in BIM to be the most exciting aspect of a project’s development. Natalia appreciates how the software allows for advanced and improved coordination between consultants, identifying and resolving conflicts early. This technical prowess has been valuable in the development of her most recent projects including, Newport Site 8A in New Jersey.
Natalia earned her Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering and a qualification in Structural Engineering from Riga Technical University. Upon moving to New York City, she began her professional career at a boutique firm specializing in smaller alteration projects. She has since gained experience on larger developments and new building types, working as a project manager at J Frankl Architects and then later at Rafael Vinoly Architects on the National Medal of Honor Museum in Arlington, Texas. Natalia also has experience in the expediting process as a code and zoning representative registered with the New York City Department of Buildings, gaining knowledge of all related city agencies’ rules and procedures while obtaining permits for various architectural projects, an expertise she continues to hone.
