Hill West served as Architect of Record for 250 West 81st Street, a distinguished Upper West Side residential tower designed in collaboration with Robert A.M. Stern Architects.
The 18-story structure comprises 31 luxury residences and is rooted in the classical vocabulary of the Upper West Side, with a carefully composed limestone and brick facade, elegant metalwork, and traditional punched windows. The building’s stepped massing and corner articulation respond to both the site and its surrounding context, while the amenity program, including a fitness center, music room, and rooftop terrace, was seamlessly integrated into the building’s structure and services.
Hill West’s technical expertise ensured the successful realization of RAMSA’s design intent, maintaining the project’s architectural integrity while navigating the complexities of a dense urban site. 250 West 81st stands as a testament to enduring design and a collaborative, detail-driven approach.
