The Henry offers diverse layout options tailored to enhance the tenant experience, with exclusive amenities designed for both relaxation and recreation.
The Henry is an 18-story luxury residential building located at 211 West 84th Street on Manhattan’s Upper West Side. Developed by Naftali Group, and designed in collaboration with Robert A. M. Stern Architects, the project offers a boutique collection of luxury residences.
The building’s design features a strong stone and brick facade, elegant setbacks, and graceful proportions that echo the classical architectural principles of the neighborhood.
The residences at The Henry feature exceptional design with oversized windows, generous ceiling heights, and a soothing material palette, creating an inviting and contemporary atmosphere. Inspired by Manhattan’s great apartment houses, each home incorporates classic proportions and modern elegance. Double-height living rooms, dramatic arched windows, and spacious kitchens with custom cabinetry highlight the thoughtful craftsmanship throughout. Bathrooms are luxurious, with radiant heated floors, deep soaking tubs, and rain showers for an elevated living experience. These homes offer refined, timeless living with unparalleled comfort and light.
Residents of The Henry also enjoy a range of private amenities, including an indoor lounge with a fireplace connecting to a private outdoor garden, a two-lane bowling alley, an indoor basketball court, a cinema, and an indoor pickleball court illuminated by skylights. A roof terrace atop the low-rise podium is lined with planters and furnished with outdoor seating, a fire pit, and a grilling station.
The townhouses at The Henry are exceptionally spacious, with each residence being 40 feet wide, twice the size of typical neighboring homes. Designed with symmetry and grandeur, the townhouses feature French doors leading to private gardens, offering a serene outdoor retreat. The living and dining areas exude elegance, with expansive windows and refined details that highlight the luxury and exclusivity of these residences.
As the architect of record, Hill West Architects worked closely with Robert A.M. Stern Architects to execute The Henry’s design. Navigating regulatory requirements and project coordination, Hill West ensured the successful realization of this thoughtfully crafted Upper West Side residence.
