Paul Stein, LEED AP - Associate / Senior Designer
My passion for LEGO led to a career in architecture. Beginning with a year long architecture course and Gruzen Samton internship as a senior in high school, and later interning for Studio Castellano, UnSPACE and GGA Architecture PLLC while attending Pratt Institute. Previously working for Kevin Hom Architect, PC as a project designer focusing on higher education and institutional facilities in NY and several states from concept through CA before joining HW in 2013. Currently an Associate / Senior Designer at Hill West with 15 years of experience, working with the design team to provide exterior façade concepts and designs for several low, mid and high-rise residential buildings while also coordinating construction documents and aiding in the CA process, as well as mentoring junior designers. Serving as the senior designer for 2230 Cropsey Ave, 25-34 Jackson Ave (8 Court Square), 280 E Houston Street and 970 Franklin Ave, while previously working on 365 & 363 Bond Street, 261 West 25th Street, PLG, Bankside, 86 Fleet (The Eagle) and 44-01 Northern Blvd.
Proficient in CAD, 3ds Max and several other software packages to produce the best design possible.
Currently sporting one of the largest rare LEGO minifigure collections, and a known cat whisperer.
